Iron Senergy has made a significant donation of $65,000 to guarantee that all local children can partake in Greene County’s summer day camps and swimming pools, regardless of financial constraints. CEO Justin Thompson expressed his pride in providing the essential funding to the Parks and Recreation department, enabling children from all corners of the county to enjoy these valuable programs free of charge. The county’s summer day camps were held at three locations: Lions Club Park in Waynesburg, Wana B Park in Carmichaels, and Mon View Park in Greensboro. These camps offer more than just traditional recreational activities; local groups have joined forces to provide a diverse range of educational experiences, enhancing the children’s knowledge and skills during their summer break.
One remarkable aspect of the summer program is that admission to the respective pools at each camp is included. This allows the children to cool off and enjoy refreshing aquatic adventures, further enriching their summer experiences.

Their partnership has also resulted in the construction of a new pavilion at the Water Park and the sponsorship of the annual Kids’ Fall Fishing Frenzy event.”
